Massachusetts Licensed Pharmacy Liaison
Job Summary
To support the Advanced Therapeutics team, the full-time Massachusetts Licensed Pharmacy Liaison will manage benefit investigations, submit prior authorizations, and conduct patient outreach while working remotely during standard daytime hours, Monday through Friday.
Key responsibilities
- Completes benefit investigations and documents results in the patient's electronic medical record
- Submits prior authorizations to insurance and follows up on decisions and inquiries
- Coordinates prescription delivery and maintains communication with patients regarding insurance and medication information
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current license with the Massachusetts Board of Pharmacy
- Certification from a national governing body such as PTCB or ExCPT, or the ability to obtain certification within 6 months of hire
- Minimum of one year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- Proficiency in using a computer and following oral and written instructions accurately
