Massachusetts Licensed Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary

To support a centralized Population Health Management model, the full-time Massachusetts Licensed Pharmacy Technician will enhance medication adherence for Medicare Advantage populations by conducting patient outreach, resolving access barriers, and collaborating with the care team in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Identify patients at risk for medication non-adherence and conduct outreach to address refills and affordability concerns
• Assist with care coordination, including prior authorizations and pharmacy transfers, to improve access to medications
• Document patient interactions and track adherence-related quality measures to support Medicare Advantage Star Ratings

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician license or Technician Certification (CPhT)
• 2+ years of experience in a retail pharmacy setting
• Familiarity with medication refill processes and pharmacy workflows
• Basic computer proficiency and experience with electronic health records (EHRs) or pharmacy systems
