Massachusetts Licensed Pharmacy Technician
Job Summary
To provide operational support in the Prescription department, the full-time Massachusetts Licensed Pharmacy Technician will perform various duties including processing prescriptions and interacting with patients, prescribers, and pharmacies, with the flexibility to work remotely after completing a 6-week on-site training in Worcester, MA.
Key responsibilities:
- Processes e-prescriptions and manages prescription requests while ensuring accurate documentation in Epic
- Interacts professionally with patients and healthcare providers to address prescription-related inquiries and issues
- Maintains the prescription pool and manages open encounters in accordance with departmental guidelines
Required qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in Massachusetts
- At least 1 year of retail Pharmacy Technician experience
- Physical health sufficient to meet the ergonomic standards of the position
