Massachusetts Licensed Property Adjuster

Job Summary

To support efficient claims processing, the fully remote Massachusetts Licensed Property Adjuster will investigate and evaluate homeowners' property claims, manage the entire claim lifecycle, and ensure excellent customer service through effective communication.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate and evaluate homeowners' property claims from start to finish, confirming facts of loss and determining coverage
• Assess damages and negotiate settlements within assigned authority, including handling supplements and Additional Living Expense (ALE) claims
• Maintain clear and timely communication with customers, contractors, and partners throughout the claims process

Required qualifications

• Active Massachusetts adjuster license or a license qualifying for reciprocity in applicable states
• Proficiency in Xactimate software for estimating damages
• Strong foundation in claims handling, including experience with supplements, ALE, and full claim ownership
• Experience in both field and desk settings preferred
• Demonstrated strong organizational skills and a proactive approach in a fast-paced environment
