Massachusetts Licensed Technology Underwriter

Job Summary

To support a growing team, the full-time Massachusetts Licensed Technology Underwriter will identify, solicit, underwrite, and sell new and renewal Technology accounts, utilizing technical, sales, and analytical skills to drive profitable growth in a hybrid or fully remote arrangement.

Key responsibilities:

• Apply underwriting concepts to assess risk and ensure compliance and profitability for Technology accounts
• Manage an assigned portfolio to achieve goals for premium, profitability, and retention while analyzing financial reports
• Identify and negotiate new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with agency partners

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 3-7+ years of experience in standard commercial lines underwriting, with a preference for accounts over $100K
• Strong knowledge of underwriting principles, pricing methodology, and risk assessment
• Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills for effective communication with stakeholders
• Proficiency in underwriting systems and tools
