Job Summary
To support safe and accurate medication dispensing, the fully remote Massachusetts Licensed Verification Pharmacist will provide first-level prescription verification services, ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations while collaborating with pharmacy teams and prescribers.
Key responsibilities
- Perform remote PV1 verification of medication orders for accuracy and clinical appropriateness
- Identify and resolve prescription discrepancies and medication safety concerns
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to address medication-related issues and maintain documentation of verification activities
Required qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited program
- Active, unrestricted pharmacist license in Massachusetts
- Minimum of 1 year of professional pharmacist experience
- Knowledge of prescription verification and pharmacy regulations
- Proficiency with pharmacy systems and electronic prescription records
