Master Electrician Operations Manager

Job Summary

Building a new department from the ground up, the full-time Remote Operations Manager - Medium Voltage will oversee hiring and developing crews, establishing operating procedures, and managing the execution of medium voltage maintenance across the company's national Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage System portfolio.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the phased hiring plan and develop Standard Operating Procedures for medium voltage work
• Manage subcontractor performance and provide technical oversight for medium voltage operations
• Oversee scheduling and execution of preventative and corrective maintenance service requests nationwide

Required qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in medium voltage electrical maintenance with multi-site experience
• Master Electrician license or extensive medium/high voltage field experience preferred
• Industry certifications such as AVO Substation Maintenance I & II and OSHA-30 required
• Proven leadership experience in an electrical services or renewable energy environment
• Experience managing third-party MV subcontractors and transitioning outsourced work to internal teams
