Materials Buyer

Job Summary

Owning the full purchasing lifecycle, the full-time remote Materials Buyer will manage reordering and procurement of raw materials, packaging, and marketing materials while resolving discrepancies and ensuring compliance with quality assurance processes.

Key responsibilities

• Own reordering for raw materials, packaging, marketing materials, shipping materials, and hard goods, ensuring accurate order quantities and lead times
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to manage first-time purchase orders for new items, ensuring timely shipping and delivery
• Oversee the complete purchase order lifecycle, maintaining accuracy in NetSuite and ensuring compliance with quality assurance before shipment release

Required qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain execution within CPG, food & beverage, or related industries
• Hands-on purchasing experience, including placing POs, managing reorders, and resolving discrepancies
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to build and maintain open PO trackers and supplier performance dashboards
• Experience with ERP systems in a purchasing capacity, with a preference for NetSuite
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
