Materials Planner

Job Summary

To support production schedules, the full-time Materials Planner will manage material flow, coordinate with suppliers, and perform order entry while working onsite in Fremont, CA.

Key responsibilities

• Drive materials to align with the forecast production schedule and manage slot plans for builds
• Identify and communicate critical material gaps to the Supply Chain to ensure timely production
• Generate work orders and perform order entry for Vendor Sales, coordinating delivery dates with suppliers

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Business, or a related field
• 2-5+ years of experience in material planning, supply chain operations, or product launch support
• Experience with BOM management and knowledge of inventory and demand planning
• Ability to identify material shortages and mitigate risks prior to production builds
• Experience supporting engineering builds and performing root cause analysis for material issues
