Job Summary
Working remotely on a contract basis, the part-time Math Content Developer will create original math questions, hints, and solutions for digital products, ensuring they effectively assess student understanding and provide pedagogical feedback.
Key responsibilities
- Write clear, original questions that test students' understanding and application of math concepts
- Author hints and feedback that anticipate common student mistakes and guide them toward correct understanding
- Review digital math content for accuracy and provide constructive feedback to other contractors
Required qualifications
- Master's degree or PhD in Mathematics
- Recent experience teaching or tutoring math at the higher education level
- Experience teaching courses such as Algebra, Precalculus, Calculus I-III, or Linear Algebra
- Proven ability to write original homework or test questions that assess conceptual understanding
- Comfort with quickly learning new software and technology
