Math Tutor
Job Summary
To support the academic growth of middle school students, the part-time remote Math Tutor will provide virtual tutoring for 6th and 7th graders, preparing engaging lessons and utilizing high-impact tutoring techniques while working with two students at a time.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide virtual, high-impact math tutoring to 6th-grade and 7th-grade students
- Support two students simultaneously while preparing and delivering engaging math lessons
- Participate in asynchronous high-impact tutoring training led by Saga Education
Required Qualifications
- Willingness to learn and apply high-impact tutoring techniques
- Ability to engage and motivate middle school students
- Passion for education and making a positive impact
- CORI/SORI background check required
- On-camera presence is required during tutoring sessions
