Math Tutor
Job Summary
Providing personalized support to students, the part-time 1-on-1 Math Tutor will reinforce concepts from long-term math classes and assist with specific questions and homework in a flexible remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver one-on-one tutoring sessions to strengthen students' understanding of math concepts
- Assist students with homework and specific areas of difficulty
- Manage weekly availability and conduct sessions based on student bookings
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution
- Strong foundation in math; preference for Math, STEM-related, or Education majors
- Passion for teaching and supporting student growth
- Experience in tutoring, mentoring, coaching, or classroom teaching is a plus
- Background in math competitions (e.g., AMC, Math Kangaroo) is a plus
