Math Tutor for Grades 1-4
Job Summary
To support young learners in developing foundational math skills, the part-time Math Tutor for Grades 1-4 will deliver one-on-one online lessons aligned with U.S. Common Core State Standards, working remotely for 15-20 hours per week.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver personalized online math lessons for students in Grades 1-4, ensuring alignment with the CCSS framework
- Engage students using interactive teaching methods and provide real-time feedback to enhance understanding
- Prepare tailored lesson content based on individual student needs and maintain a positive learning environment
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Math, Education, or related fields
- Teaching experience or a valid teaching certificate is highly preferred
- Availability to work during weekday evenings and weekends (US time zones)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese is preferred
