MD Licensed Claims Consultant

Job Summary

Seeking a collaborative and influential MD Licensed Claims Consultant, the fully remote position will investigate and confirm facts of loss for complex automobile accidents, determine coverage and liability, and mentor junior employees.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate and adjust complex automobile accident claims, determining coverage, liability, and damages
• Mentor and provide direction to junior claims professionals, fostering team performance and development
• Identify customer needs and apply advanced understanding of insurance policies to recommend process improvements

Required qualifications

• Direct claim ownership experience, particularly with complex liability and coverage investigations
• Strong understanding of claims quality standards and auditing practices
• Previous leadership or mentoring experience in a claims environment
• Excellent communication and influencing skills
• Commitment to operational excellence and continuous improvement
