MD Medical Knowledge Expert

Job Summary

To support a short-term clinical data review project, the full-time Medical Knowledge Expert - MD will review de-identified inpatient health records and apply clinical judgment to answer case-based clinical questions remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Review clinical judgment questions and assess the accuracy of draft answers based on inpatient health records
• Provide correct answers and rationales for any inaccuracies found in the draft responses
• Maintain a steady pace while adhering to guidelines and ensuring high-quality work throughout the review process

Required qualifications

• MD or DO with an active, unencumbered U.S. medical license
• At least 3 years of clinical practice within the last 5 years in relevant medical fields
• Hands-on experience with inpatient EHRs, including clinical notes and procedure codes
• Availability for 20 to 40 hours per week from Nov 9 to Nov 27, plus training sessions from Nov 3 to Nov 6
• Reliable computer and internet connection for remote work
