MD Physician Advisor

Job Summary

To support the Admission Status Review team, the part-time salaried MD Physician Advisor will proactively review cases for compliance and admission status, engaging with attending physicians and hospital teams while working remotely across various locations.

Key responsibilities:

• Proactively review and analyze cases to ensure compliant admission status and reduce denial risks
• Engage with attending physicians and hospital utilization review teams to discuss case determinations
• Respond to customer inquiries within 1-2 hours and maintain quality and productivity standards during scheduled hours

Required qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted U.S. MD or DO medical licensure
• At least 3 years of post-residency experience focused on inpatient treatment
• Strong clinical knowledge across multiple specialties
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, with a commitment to weekend hours
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
