Mechanical Claims Adjuster

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Mechanical Claims Adjuster will validate, adjudicate, and approve payments for diagnostics and repair recommendations for customer vehicles under warranty while managing interactions with repair facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Adjudicates claims within approval limits and in accordance with department and industry standards
• Maintains accurate documentation of all actions and interactions with shops and customers in internal systems
• Manages a list of assigned pending claims and follows up with repair facilities to ensure timely decisions

Required qualifications

• High-school diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• 3+ years of experience with current automotive mechanical and diagnostics
• Strong understanding of automotive systems, repair procedures, and parts pricing
• Proficiency in typing and general computer skills
• Ability to work in a high-volume, collaborative environment while managing multiple priorities
