Mechanical Construction Manager

Job Summary

Responsible for overseeing mechanical construction activities, the full-time Mechanical Construction Manager will manage the erection, maintenance, and commissioning of rotating machines and related equipment on-site, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards while coordinating with subcontractors and the construction team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the execution of mechanical erection works, ensuring adherence to schedules and quality standards
• Oversee maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of mechanical equipment, including pumps and compressors
• Provide guidance and support to the mechanical construction team, ensuring compliance with EHS regulations and project timelines

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 10-12 years of relevant experience
• 3-4 years of experience in executing FGD or power projects for power plants
• Experience in managing medium-sized, multi-cultural technical teams is desirable
• Familiarity with mechanical systems and rotating machines preservation during erection
• Ability to read and interpret engineering documentation and specifications
