Mechanical Design Consultant Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Mechanical Design Consultant Engineer with expertise in mechanical product design, CAD modeling, and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to lead design optimization and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote capacity.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop complex 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings using PTC CREO
- Perform structural analysis and FEA simulations to evaluate product strength and durability
- Optimize mechanical designs for manufacturability and cost-effectiveness while supporting New Product Development (NPD) initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in mechanical product design and development
- Strong proficiency in PTC CREO and practical experience with ANSYS for FEA
- Knowledge of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and engineering drawing standards
- Ability to work remotely within the U.S. and travel as needed
