Mechanical Design Engineer
Job Summary
To support the Flow Control Engineering team, the fully remote Mechanical Design Engineer will design and improve mechanical systems for steel manufacturing, collaborating with various teams to deliver innovative solutions that enhance operational performance and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop mechanical designs and installation concepts for Flow Control and Slide Gate systems
- Create detailed engineering documentation and support project execution, ensuring timely completion and customer satisfaction
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product development and continuous improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of engineering or mechanical design experience
- Associate's degree, Technical Diploma, or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes
- Experience with 3D CAD software such as Creo, SolidWorks, or AutoCAD
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
