Job Summary
To support vehicle design initiatives, the full-time Sr. Mechanical Engineer will design and analyze heavy-duty vehicle components, ensuring functionality and reliability, while working onsite in Oshkosh, WI, with some flexibility for remote work.
Key responsibilities
- Perform engineering calculations and design tasks under supervision, adhering to industry standards
- Collaborate with senior engineers on project plans, designs, and technical documentation while managing multiple projects
- Evaluate designs for performance and safety, providing technical assistance for production support and mentoring entry-level engineers
Required qualifications
- Accredited Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with three or more years of relevant experience
- Accredited Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred
- Mechanical knowledge of automotive or heavy-vehicle equipment and systems
- Experience with a high-level CAD system
- U.S. Citizenship required due to government contract eligibility
