Mechanical Engineer for Data Centers

Job Summary

To support the next generation of large-scale data center development, the remote Mechanical Engineer for Data Centers will shape mechanical strategies, assess cooling systems and mechanical factors, and serve as a trusted technical advisor during the early stages of project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities:

• Shape mechanical strategies for data center campuses during site feasibility and early development
• Assess cooling systems, water requirements, and other mechanical factors affecting project viability
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create coordinated infrastructure strategies

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Experience supporting data centers or mission-critical facilities
• Working knowledge of data center cooling and campus-scale mechanical systems
• Experience with feasibility, conceptual engineering, and early-stage design
• Strong engineering fundamentals with the ability to evaluate mechanical systems from both technical and development perspectives
