Seeking a part-time Technical Manager I - Mechanical (SME), the ideal candidate will leverage extensive experience in the MEP consulting industry to develop technical content, mentor junior engineers, and enhance engineering practices while working remotely or from any U.S. office.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain technical content for the company's Knowledge Den knowledge management database
- Create, review, and update mechanical engineering specifications and technical standards
- Provide technical guidance, training, and mentorship to junior engineers
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited institution
- 15+ years of professional experience in the MEP engineering consulting industry
- Extensive experience in mechanical engineering design, standards, specifications, and calculations
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems within commercial and institutional building projects
- Demonstrated ability to mentor, train, and provide technical guidance to engineers
