Job Summary
Seeking a Mechanical Integrity Engineer for a remote role, this full-time position focuses on conducting structural analysis and substantiation for gas turbine engine components, utilizing finite element analysis and CAE tools to ensure compliance with durability and performance standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Perform structural and mechanical integrity analysis for gas turbine engine components
- Utilize finite element analysis and hand calculations to support design decisions and technical substantiation
- Collaborate with internal teams and customer stakeholders to evaluate designs and provide analysis-backed recommendations
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in gas turbine structural analysis or related aerospace structures work
- Strong understanding of fatigue mechanics, durability principles, and structural analysis techniques
- Experience with CAE tools such as ANSYS, Siemens Simcenter, or Nastran/Patran
- Must be a U.S. Citizen due to the nature of the work
