Mechatronics Adjunct Instructor

Job Summary

To support a growing educational program, the part-time Mechatronics Adjunct Instructor will plan, organize, and deliver courses in Mechatronics while providing feedback and engaging with students in various learning environments, including classroom, remote, and online formats.

Key responsibilities

• Create a learning environment that facilitates students' acquisition of knowledge and skills in Mechatronics
• Align course activities with learning outcomes and employ active learning strategies to enhance student engagement
• Deliver instruction and conduct assessments of student learning, providing timely feedback and holding office hours for student support

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics, Industrial Technology, or related field, or an Associate Degree with demonstrated competency
• Two years of related work experience
• Ability to communicate effectively in an electronic format
• Experience teaching electrical and process controls for dual enrollment
• Familiarity with learning management systems such as CANVAS
