Seeking a part-time Media Monitoring Freelancer, this remote position will monitor news and media coverage, identify relevant stories, and provide clear updates for client teams during early-morning hours.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct daily morning monitoring across various media outlets to identify relevant coverage for assigned clients
- Compile, draft, and distribute timely media monitoring reports and coverage updates for client teams
- Identify and flag breaking news and significant developments, adapting monitoring to client priorities
Required qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in public relations, communications, media monitoring, journalism, or a related field
- Previous experience in conducting media monitoring and producing media coverage reports
- Strong writing and editorial judgment, with the ability to synthesize information into concise summaries
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Experience with media monitoring platforms such as Cision or Muck Rack is a plus
