Medicaid Business Data Analyst

Job Summary

Owning the day-to-day documentation and analysis for Medicaid reporting deliverables, the fully remote Medicaid Business Data Analyst will gather and manage business requirements, translate Medicaid policy into actionable business rules, and write SQL to analyze healthcare data.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and document business requirements for EDW reports and federal reporting
• Write clear requirements artifacts and maintain traceability throughout the project lifecycle
• Analyze Medicaid data and support testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and end-user training

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, public health, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of business analysis experience, including requirements gathering and documentation
• 5+ years of experience with healthcare data such as claims and eligibility/enrollment
• 3+ years of experience with Medicaid or public-sector healthcare programs
• 3+ years of experience writing SQL to analyze data in relational databases
