Leading large, cross-functional projects in the health industry, the full-time remote Medicaid Consulting Actuary (ASA) will build client relationships, direct project initiatives, and present analytical results while leveraging extensive Medicaid managed-care experience.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, directing projects and presenting results
- Develop a successful client base through networking, writing, and speaking engagements
- Plan projects, identify deliverables, and ensure compliance with quality procedures
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a quantitative field
- ASA designation with the Society of Actuaries (SOA)
- 7+ years of health actuarial experience, including 3+ years in Medicaid managed care
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and actuarial concepts
- Experience managing projects and mentoring staff
