Medicaid Eligibility Representative

Job Summary

To support patient assistance efforts, the part-time Outpatient Medicaid Eligibility Representative will screen and interview patients for insurance eligibility in a hybrid remote setting after completing four weeks of onsite training in Cleveland, OH.

Key responsibilities

• Screen and interview patients for insurance eligibility in an outbound dialer environment
• Provide thorough, efficient, and accurate documentation of patient interactions
• Meet goals and quality standards through efficient and accurate work activities

Required qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in a dialer call center environment preferred but not required
• 1-3 years of previous healthcare eligibility experience preferred but not required
• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with a typing speed of at least 40 WPM
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and knowledge of HIPAA regulations
