Job Summary

To support a growing virtual-first medical practice, the full-time Clinical Associate - Medical Assistant will manage telehealth visits, facilitate patient onboarding, and coordinate care while working remotely and potentially on weekends as needed, with a focus on delivering high-quality member experiences and improving clinical outcomes; Medical Assistant Certification Required.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with healthcare providers to manage orders, referrals, and care coordination for members
• Review member panels to identify and close preventive care gaps and educate members on routine screenings
• Serve as a reliable point of contact for members, providing guidance on care coordination needs and health system navigation

Required qualifications

• Medical Assistant Certification (active or expired) or significant MA experience
• Two years of patient-facing healthcare experience, preferably in virtual care or telehealth settings
• Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR/EMR) systems for clinical documentation
• Thorough understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy standards
