Medical Biller II

Job Summary

To support healthcare organizations, the fully remote Medical Biller II will manage insurance claims, resolve billing rejections, and collaborate with client teams to ensure timely claim processing and maximum reimbursement.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit physician billing data and medical claims to insurance companies following mandated guidelines
• Review and correct claim edits, errors, and denials to ensure proper hospital claim submission and payment
• Investigate and follow up with payers on assigned claims to achieve maximum reimbursement for services provided

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred
• 2+ years of work experience as a Medical Biller or in a similar role
• Experience with EPIC system preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, and virtual meeting platforms
• Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT/HCPCS codes, and medical billing regulations
