Job Summary

To support efficient healthcare revenue cycles, the fully remote Medical Biller II will manage the preparation and submission of medical claims, resolve billing rejections, and collaborate with client teams to ensure timely payment processing.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit billing data and medical claims to insurance companies following mandated guidelines
• Investigate and follow up on claims, correcting errors and ensuring proper claim submission
• Achieve maximum reimbursement for services by adhering to productivity and quality standards

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred
• 2+ years of experience as a Medical Biller or in a similar role
• Experience with MedHost system preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and virtual meeting platforms
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT/HCPCS codes, as well as medical billing regulations
