Medical Biller II

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Medical Biller II will manage insurance claims, resolve billing rejections, and collaborate with client teams to ensure the financial success of healthcare organizations.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit physician billing data and medical claims to insurance companies following mandated guidelines
• Review and correct claim edits, errors, and denials to ensure proper hospital claim submission and payment
• Investigate and follow up with payers on assigned claims to achieve maximum reimbursement for services provided

Required qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred
• 2+ years of work experience as a Medical Biller or in a similar role
• Experience with the EPIC system preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and virtual meeting platforms (GoToMeeting, Zoom)
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT/HCPCS codes and medical billing regulations
