Job Summary

Verifying patient demographic information, the full-time Revenue Cycle Medical Billing Trip Intake Demographic Verification Representative will ensure accuracy in clinical records and facilitate timely account distribution, working remotely or onsite.

Key responsibilities

• Verify and update patient demographic information in the billing system
• Ensure that all documents in a patient's records belong to the correct patient
• Assign accounts to the next department accurately and manage account workflows efficiently

Required qualifications

• 6 months of hospital/clinic admission experience or related education
• 6 months of data entry experience
• Basic skills with Microsoft Excel, including the ability to use functions for sums
• Experience with downloading and accessing documents from websites
• High school diploma, GED, or significant relevant work experience
