Medical Billing Payor Verification

Job Summary

To support the revenue cycle, the full-time Medical Billing Payor Verification representative will verify benefits, deductibles, and out-of-pocket amounts with government payors using payor portals and telephone communications, in a remote or onsite capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Utilize payor portals and telephone to verify benefits and address issues
• Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals and meet deadlines
• Analyze work processes to enhance operational efficiency

Required qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year of medical billing experience, including payor verification
• Intermediate proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office 365, including Excel and Word
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• High school diploma, GED, or significant relevant work experience
