Medical Billing Specialist

Job Summary

To support dental practices, the full-time Medical Billing Specialist will manage medical billing activities including claim submission, pre-authorizations, and denial resolution while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit medical claims for dental procedures, ensuring compliance with coding and documentation requirements
• Manage pre-authorizations and follow up on outstanding medical claims through resolution
• Identify and report denial trends, providing actionable feedback to improve reimbursement outcomes

Required qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience with medical billing for dental and/or oral procedures
• Experience in medical claim submission, pre-authorizations, and denial resolution
• Strong understanding of medical and dental insurance reimbursement processes
• Experience interpreting EOBs/ERAs and payer responses
• Familiarity with medical claim forms and coding requirements applicable to dental procedures
