Medical Billing Specialist

Job Summary

To support a nationwide revenue cycle management team, the full-time Medical Billing Specialist will manage the billing cycle, resolve claim denials, and ensure compliance while working remotely from home.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain Revenue Cycle Services by resolving billing issues and denials requiring clinical expertise
• Research and resolve claim denials and rejections for assigned clients, ensuring timely reporting and communication of trends
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure billing accuracy and efficiency while adhering to all relevant regulations

Required qualifications

• High School Graduate or Equivalent
• 1-2 years of medical accounts receivable experience
• Knowledge of ICD10 and CPT coding
• Proficiency in medical billing software systems and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to interpret medical records and documentation related to medical claims
