Job Summary

Managing medical-only workers' compensation claims remotely, the full-time Medical Only Claims Representative will investigate claims, communicate with stakeholders, and ensure compliance with state requirements while maintaining accurate documentation and timely payments.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate and manage medical-only workers' compensation claims across multiple jurisdictions
• Communicate with insureds, injured employees, and agents to gather information and provide status updates
• Confirm return-to-work status and appropriate medical care, utilizing cost-containment resources as needed

Required qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent relevant experience
• One year of insurance or claims handling experience or related experience
• Iowa and Wisconsin medical-only workers' compensation claims experience preferred
• Adjuster licensing preferred through the candidate's home state or Texas
• Attainment of all applicable state licenses within six months of hire
