Medical Coding Specialist
Job Summary
To support the development and maintenance of medical policy applications, the remote Medical Coding Specialist will oversee QuickBase tool lifecycle management, gather business requirements, and lead a team in delivering high-quality solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the full lifecycle of QuickBase applications and reporting solutions, focusing on medical policy support
- Partner with stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize business and medical policy requirements, translating them into actionable tasks
- Lead and mentor a team of developers and analysts, ensuring effective collaboration and compliance in tool and role development
Required qualifications
- Medical Coding experience
- Associates Degree or higher preferred
- Experience with QuickBase or similar development tools
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance related to medical policies
- 3+ years of relevant experience in medical coding or application development
