Medical Credentialing Specialist

Job Summary

To support a growing healthcare team, the full-time remote Medical Credentialing Specialist will manage the end-to-end provider onboarding process, coordinate facility privileging applications, and ensure compliance with accreditation standards while working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage the provider onboarding process, serving as the primary contact for new physicians
• Coordinate facility privileging applications and maintain accurate credentialing records
• Monitor onboarding milestones and provide regular status updates to leadership and stakeholders

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in physician medical credentialing, licensing, or provider enrollment
• Experience managing multiple provider onboarding projects simultaneously
• Familiarity with federal/state regulations and accrediting agencies
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and various computer systems
