Medical Director - Obesity Strategy

Job Summary

Leading the U.S. Cardiovascular & Metabolic Medical strategy, the full-time remote Medical Director - Obesity Strategy will develop and deliver strategic plans for an investigational therapy targeting obesity and related conditions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure launch readiness and scientific engagement.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the development of U.S. Medical strategy with a focus on chronic weight management launch support
• Build an integrated, evidence-based narrative linking obesity to the broader care continuum
• Define scientific evidence gaps and shape local evidence generation priorities in alignment with global plans

Required qualifications:

• Doctorate degree with 4 years of experience in Medical Affairs, clinical research, or cardiometabolic science research, or a Master's degree with 7 years, or a Bachelor's degree with 9 years of relevant experience
• Advanced scientific or clinical degree (PharmD, PhD, MD) with experience in cardiometabolic disease or obesity
• Experience in U.S. Medical Affairs within the biopharmaceutical industry
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical product development and lifecycle planning
• Ability to integrate multiple indications and stakeholder needs into a clear U.S. Medical strategy
