Job Summary

Responsible for providing editorial services, the full-time Medical Editor will manage medical editing, copyediting, proofreading, and claim checking for pharmaceutical advertising materials, ensuring editorial consistency and FDA compliance while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Provide medical editing, copyediting, proofreading, and claim checking for digital and print pharmaceutical advertising materials
• Edit and review internal and external presentations and corporate communications
• Create, maintain, and communicate brand style guidelines while collaborating with cross-functional teams

Required qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of current AMA style and familiarity with FDA requirements for drug promotion
• Proactive with the ability to perform literature searches and understand medically related literature
• Experience with Adobe Acrobat Professional, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint
• Extremely detail-oriented with proven experience managing shifting priorities in high-pressure situations
• Digitally savvy with excellent organizational and time-management skills
