Medical Editor

Job Summary

Responsible for providing editorial services, the full-time Medical Editor will manage medical editing, copyediting, proofreading, and claim checking for pharmaceutical advertising materials while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Provide medical editing, copyediting, proofreading, and claim checking for digital and print pharmaceutical advertising materials
• Edit and review internal and external presentations and corporate communications to ensure editorial consistency and FDA compliance
• Create, maintain, and communicate brand style guidelines while serving as the main editorial voice for assigned brands

Required qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of current AMA style and familiarity with FDA requirements for drug promotion
• Proactive and able to perform literature searches and understand medically related literature
• Experienced in Adobe Acrobat Professional, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint
• Extremely detail-oriented with proven experience managing rapidly shifting priorities in high-pressure situations
• Digitally savvy with excellent organizational and time-management skills
