Job Summary
Detail-oriented and customer-focused, the full-time Remote Medical Insurance Verification Specialist will assist patients in obtaining coverage for prescription medications, manage inbound/outbound calls, and utilize call center software to ensure efficient account management while working from home.
Key responsibilities
- Assist patients with obtaining coverage for prescription medications
- Make inbound/outbound calls to patients, guarantors, payors, and payees
- Utilize call center software to complete account research and update notes
Required qualifications
- At least 1 year of recent medical insurance verification or benefits experience
- Knowledge of prior authorization and claims processes
- Ability to work in a quiet and secure home location
- High-speed internet with hardwired modem access
- Computer proficiency with the ability to learn new software and navigate multiple screens
