Job Summary
Detail-oriented and customer-focused, the full-time Remote Medical Insurance Verification Specialist will assist patients in obtaining coverage for prescription medications through inbound and outbound calls while working from home.
Key responsibilities
- Assist patients with obtaining insurance coverage for prescription medications
- Make inbound and outbound calls to patients, guarantors, payors, and payees
- Utilize call center software to conduct account research and update notes
Required qualifications
- At least 1 year of recent medical insurance verification or benefits experience
- Knowledge of prior authorization and claims processes
- Experience working in a call center is recommended but not required
- Ability to maintain a quiet and secure work environment at home
- High-speed internet with hardwired modem access (no hotspots accepted)
