Medical Knowledge Expert - MD

Job Summary

To support a short-term clinical data review project, the full-time Medical Knowledge Expert - MD will review de-identified inpatient health records and apply clinical judgment to answer case-based clinical questions remotely for a duration of four weeks.

Key responsibilities

• Review clinical judgment questions by analyzing de-identified hospital stays and draft answers
• Correct and explain inaccuracies in draft answers, providing clinical rationale based on chart evidence
• Follow detailed guidelines and maintain a steady pace while ensuring high-quality work throughout the production period

Required qualifications

• MD or DO with an active, unencumbered U.S. medical license
• At least 3 years of clinical practice within the last 5 years in relevant medical fields
• Hands-on experience with inpatient EHRs, including clinical notes and procedure codes
• Availability for approximately 20, 30, or 40 hours per week during the production period
• Master's Degree in a relevant field
