Medical Knowledge Expert - MD

Job Summary

To support a short-term clinical data review project, the full-time Medical Knowledge Expert - MD will review de-identified inpatient health records and apply clinical judgment to answer case-based clinical questions remotely for a duration of four weeks.

Key responsibilities

• Review clinical judgment questions and determine the accuracy of draft answers based on inpatient health records
• Provide correct answers and clinical rationales when draft answers are incorrect, ensuring clarity and specificity
• Follow detailed guidelines and maintain a steady pace while reviewing a high volume of standardized items

Required qualifications

• MD or DO with an active, unencumbered U.S. medical license
• At least 3 years of clinical practice in internal medicine, hospital medicine, or related fields within the last 5 years
• Hands-on experience with inpatient EHRs, including clinical notes and procedure codes
• Board certification in a relevant specialty is preferred
• Availability for training and production work from November 3 to November 27, 2026
