Medical Publication Writer

Job Summary

Supporting a growing client in the medical device industry, the part-time Medical Publication Writer will draft, edit, and finalize scientific manuscripts and related materials while collaborating with healthcare professionals in a fully remote contract role lasting approximately 3-6 months.

Key responsibilities:

• Draft, edit, and finalize scientific manuscripts, abstracts, and posters using clinical data
• Collaborate with physicians and researchers to communicate medical device research findings accurately
• Manage revisions and address feedback throughout the publication lifecycle while ensuring compliance with industry standards

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred (Master's, PhD, PharmD, MD)
• 3+ years of medical writing or publication writing experience in the medical device or healthcare industry
• Proven experience in developing manuscripts and peer-reviewed publications
• CMPP (Certified Medical Publication Professional) certification preferred
• Strong understanding of publication guidelines and scientific writing standards
