Medical Records Indexer
Job Summary
To support the indexing team, the full-time Medical Records Indexer will accurately identify and classify medical records for review by coding teams while working remotely from home.
Key responsibilities
- Input medical record data into the Appxtender document management system
- Maintain a turnaround time of 48 hours for processing across all client health plans
- Ensure compliance with established guidelines and participate in internal quality audits
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum typing speed of 40 WPM with a typing test required
- Basic knowledge of medical records interpretation
- At least 1 year of data entry experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Excel
