Job Summary
To support laboratory operations, the full-time Medical Technologist - MN Licensed will perform technical procedures, determine specimen acceptability, and report test results while working remotely from Thursday to Sunday, 12pm-10:30pm Central Time.
Key responsibilities
- Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing based on established criteria
- Perform routine and complex technical procedures according to departmental Standard Operating Procedures
- Monitor, operate, and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper functionality
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a Chemical or Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology
- 1 year or more of clinical laboratory testing experience OR an MLS degree
- Proficient with computers and familiarity with laboratory information systems
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Private, HIPAA compliant workspace for remote work
